Charles “Red” Ruffing was a key starter for the Yankees during 6 of their World Series campaigns. In his postseason career, he had a 2.63 ERA and was a member of the 1932,1936,1937,1938,1939 and 1941 World Series teams. Although he is identified as a New York Yankee, his career got off to a rough start with the Red Sox, posting a 39-96 record with the team. In 15 seasons with the Yankees he posted a record of 231-124.
